Transformer

EEE

Transformer operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction and consists of two main parts: a magnetic iron core and two windings (primary and secondary). When an alternating voltage (AC) is applied to the primary winding, a varying magnetic field is generated in the core, which induces a voltage in the secondary winding. Depending on the ratio of turns between the windings, this voltage can be stepped up or stepped down, enabling efficient transfer of electrical energy.
